We are taking a moment to remember the life of an extraordinary man, Timothy Mark Lambert was born on July 26, 1957, in West Union, Ohio. He left us on February 26, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida. While this may bring sorrow it gives us the opportunity to reflect on all the love, laughter and countless memories Tim has brought to our lives and all the lives he has touched.
Anyone who knew Tim or had spent any time with him knew two things for sure about Tim: he adored his wife Laurie Lambert and loved Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior, with his whole heart. He was never shy about sharing Jesus with anyone.
Tim was a loving husband and father and is survived by his wife, Laurie Lambert, and sons Zachary Lambert and Aaron Lambert, his sister-in-love Kristy Rolland, father and mother-in law Rolf and Gayle Rolland, as well as many nieces and nephews. As an animal lover he leaves behind fur babies, Teddy, Reagan, and Watson.
Tim was a Merchant Mariner for most of his life. Mainly a ship's captain who was known for his spirit of excellence and for doing things the right way. In his later few years up until his health prevented him, he drove for NEMT ministering daily to those Jesus placed in his car.
Tim was a musician and could play just about any instrument with his passion being guitar and keyboard. Being a worshipper Tim used musical his gifts to worship Jesus and lead others into His presence. Many of you received the yearly "birthday videos" Tim loved to send on family and friends' birthdays. He was also a song writer as well as a talented teacher. He taught many not only how to play guitar but how to worship Jesus and bring others into His presence.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents Otie and Eleanor Lambert, and all his brothers and sisters, Ray Ludwig, Wayne Ludwig, Howard Ludwig, Bernie Ludwig, Gary Ludwig, Emily Varaksa and Sheila Lambert.
The family will be having a small private memorial. In lieu of flowers, you may contribute to the family's immediate expenses via the NWMI missions link at:
