Timothy Mallory Obituary
In fond remembrance of Timothy S. Mallory, 61, a resident of Francisco with a repertoire of titles that reflected the various facets of his lively character - a cherished son to the late Donald (Dale) Mallory and Glenny Stuckey, a beloved dad to four children, known as Mallard in the coal mines, Gabby in the oil fields, and affectionately as Papaw Fartblossom to the little ones who brightened his world.
Timothy unexpectedly waltzed into eternity on January 6, 2024, leaving behind a legacy woven with laughter, love, and an enduring touch of humor that will linger in the hearts of all who were touched by his spirit.
From a master of construction (30 yrs.), Miner (6 yrs.), and a roughneck (6 yrs.), Tim's skills extended beyond the worksite to scratching lotto tickets and charming Lady Luck at Evansville and French Lick casinos. A nature enthusiast at heart, he sought solace in reading the trees, floating on water entertaining the fish below, and his favorite pastime - embarking on spontaneous drives to gas stations across the county in search of inspiring the next unsuspecting smile.
Survived by his children Dale Mallory, Casey (Steve) Campbell, Melissa (Anthony Yockey) Mallory, and Mark (Kenzie) Mallory, along with a lively crew of grandchildren - Damien, Teagan, Jaryn "JJ", Brock, Bryer, Miles, MacKinlee (Mack), Jackson, Maddyx (Mad Max), and the eagerly anticipated Memphis, Timothy's legacy is imprinted not just in their hearts but also in the collective memories of his siblings: Steve, Peggy, Rod, and Kim (Doug).
In a ceremony rich with laughter and the occasional tear, we bid adieu to our dear Papaw Fartblossom and his infectious smile, gathering at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City on January 11, 2024, at 1 PM CST. Visitation will be held Thursday from 11 AM CST until the service time of 1 PM CST.
In lieu of flowers, the Mallory family appreciates any contributions to Colvin Funeral Home for funeral expenses, envelopes will be available at the funeral home. As we navigate the unexpected choreography of life's dance, let's strive to emulate the graceful steps that Tim mastered so well, embracing the grand comedy of life just as he would have wanted.
