FAIRMONT: All Services for Timothy C. Meyer, 73, of Fairmont, Minnesota are private and
under the direction of the Kramer Funeral Home in Sherburn, Trimont and Welcome.
Tim was called to his eternal rest on Wednesday morning, November 26, 2025 at Season's Healthcare in Trimont, Minnesota.
Timothy Chester Meyer was born on March 22, 1952 to Chester and Mildred (Striggo) Meyer in Fairmont, Minnesota. He received his education in Fairmont School later graduating with the class of 1970. Tim attended Jackson Vocational School. After completing school, he took a job in Texas working at the oilfields until he returned home to be a caregiver for his father Chester in 1980. Tim continued living in the Fairmont area while farming, raising livestock, and drove school bus for the Fairmont area. On Christmas Day in 2001, he was united in marriage to Lori Jo Soleta in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They made their home in the Fairmont area. Together they operated two businesses, Tim's Twin Oaks Woodcraft and Lori's Stained-Glass Creations. Tim worked as a driver's education worker for the State of Minnesota. Tim greatly enjoyed fishing with friends, his trips to Canada, and hunting pheasants with his brothers-in-law Dan and Randy Soleta and his beloved lab Sadie Gal. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and together with Lori created many stained-glass ducks and large prints for live auctions and banquet affairs. In later years, he continued to drive school buses, coach trips for band concerts, and drive for the Fairmont and surrounding areas transit bus. Tim and Lori along with their good friends Ed and Enid Bloedel were known as the "movie critics group" they together attended the National Regional Rendezvous and went go on Sturgis trips
He is survived by his wife, Lori J. (Soleta) Hunter of Fairmont, Minnesota; Extended family and dear friends Ed and Enid Bloedel, and other relatives
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Mildred Meyer; sisters; Lina (Meyer) Wortman and her husband Frosty, Burnus (Meyer) Harder and her husband, Richard of Anderson, S.C.; nephews and nieces, Brad Wortmarn, Brandon Wortman, Cherri (Wortman) Hugget and husband Keith, Steven Wortman, and other relatives.
