In Loving Memory of Timothy "Tbone" Lee Moore
Timothy Lee Moore, known affectionately as "Tbone" by his close friends, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19, 2024, surrounded by the love of his wife and son. Born on September 18, 1956, in Corpus Christi, TX, Tim was the beloved son of Richard and Caroline (Shaner) Moore.
In 1976, Tim met the love of his life, Terribeth Gordon-Moore, and their deep connection blossomed into a lifelong partnership. They were joyfully married in 1992, sharing over four decades of love, laughter, and adventure.
Tim was a man of many passions. He had a quick wit and a great sense of humor that endeared him to all who knew him. After dedicating 30 years of his life to Foundation Park Care Center in Environmental Services, where he retired in 2018, you could often find him unwinding with a ride on his Harley Tri-Glide, feeling the wind and finding peace on the open road. An avid golfer, Tim spent countless hours on the greens of Inverness Club and Highland Meadows, where he found camaraderie and joy. Golf was more than a hobby for Tim-it was a way of life, and he cherished the time spent with friends and family on the course.
At home, Tim had a soft spot for simple pleasures, like sharing Oreos with his loyal Boxer, Cassius. These small moments brought him immense joy and reflected his deep appreciation for life's little treasures.
Tim was preceded in death by his loving parents, Richard and Carolyn, whom he now joins in eternal rest. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, carried on by his devoted wife, Terribeth Gordon-Moore; his son, Timothy Moore Jr.; his sister, Carol Knight; and his brothers, Terry (Debbie) and Rick (Elaine). Tim was also a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tim's life during a visitation at Walker Funeral Home (5155 W. Sylvania Ave.) on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 4 pm – 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 10:00 am, followed by interment at Toledo Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to The American Cancer Society in Tim's honor, a cause close to his heart.

Tim, so sorry for my delay in responding to your passing. However, I would rather be late than never! Our interactions were golf related over the years, be it in Local 8 golf leagues, Inky's Saturday golf group or winter simulator golf. Final thanks for your taking me as a guest to golf at Inverness. RIP - Tim!

I met Tim in the mid 70s. My fondest memories go back to playing Sunday beer softball and watching him dance from the pitchers mound to the song " Black Betty" being cranked from somebody´s van. And rafting down the black river up north.
Tim was ALWAYS a happy face and personality. Seemed to always be up beat and hilarious.
I cherished his friendship over the years and will carry fond memories of him.
Your at peace my friend, rest well
And our prayers will go on for Your family and friends.

Tim was so present for our family, throughout his life. He always made me smile - because of his love for life. It was so nice to see him in May at my Dad´s funeral. Tim will be missed by my whole family and our prayers go out to TerryBeth, Tim Jr, and all of his family and friends.
