Timothy J. Niemiec
Timothy J. Niemiec passed away peacefully at home in Perrysburg, Ohio on August 28, 2025. Tim was born September 24, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio to Stephen and Marjorie Niemiec. Tim resided in the Toledo area his entire life.
Tim attended Bowsher High School and graduated with an associate’s degree in electronics from Owens Technology.
Tim spent his entire business career as an industrial salesman for various national manufacturers and local distributors of pneumatic and power transmission equipment.
Tim enjoyed spending time in his workshop and was an excellent carpenter, creating beautiful woodworking projects for his home. Tim loved sailing and earned a few awards competing in several regattas. Tim was extremely proud of his fully restored 1969 Ford Mustang convertible.
Tim’s happiest moments were when he was surrounded by his family and friends.
Tim is survived by his wife of 33 years, Susan (Clauss) Niemiec; sons, Joseph and Samuel Niemiec; step-daughters, Amy Printki and spouse Chris Stefanko, Katy and Russ Courtney; grandchildren, Max and Ellie Stefanko, Caleb and Bailey Courtney; brother, Stephen Niemiec of Toledo; and sister, Nancy Sobecki and brother-in-law Mark Sobecki of Columbus.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends and family are invited to a Remembrance Service being held on Saturday, September 6th, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43614. A Tribute Service will follow immediately at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at nationalmssociety.org
