Timothy Ott Obituary
Born August 26, 1991 in Monroeville, he was a son of Howard L. Ott & Susan G. (Fry) Ott of Kiski Township.
Tim graduated in 2010 after 12 years of homeschool. He then earned his welder's certificate from Lenape Vo Tech, and worked with his brother Larry as a welder, co-founding Detonation Technology in Maysville, NC before moving back to the area in May of 2024.
Tim liked flying drones, riding motorcycles, skydiving, playing airsoft games, and was an avid hunter. He liked creating big explosions with his brothers on the family farm. Uncle Tim also greatly enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lawrence & Ruth Ott; and his maternal grandfather, Russell Fry, Sr.
In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by his siblings, Lawrence "Larry" (Sarah) Ott of Maysville, NC, Christine (Chris) Hopkins of Luray, VA, Sarah (Zach) Cable of South Park, Joseph Ott of Apollo, Justin (Tara) Ott of North Apollo, David (Hannah) Ott of Home, PA, Michael Ott of Vandergrift; nieces and nephews, Gabriel, Felicity, Hannah, Olivia, Ben, Emma, Owen; his maternal grandmother, Helen (Thompson) Fry; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo. Additional visitation will be held in Graystone Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 640 Church St., Indiana, on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Joe Stroup officiating. Private interment in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo, will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial Contributions may be offered in Tim's memory to Lifeway Family and Pregnancy Support 1516 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA, 15650.
