Timothy Pearce Obituary

Timothy Pearce, 48 of Durango, Colorado, left this world on February 17, 2026. At the time of his death, he was just one week shy of his 49th birthday. He was born on February 23, 1977, to Debra Pearce in Durango, Colorado.

As a lifelong resident of SW Colorado, including Durango, Cortez, and Bayfield, Tim enjoyed being outside, fishing, hiking, 4-wheeling, camping with family and friends, or just lying in the grass on a sunny day. He was also a Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed a good football game.

Tim had an outgoing personality and a goofy sense of humor, with the incredible ability to strike up a conversation with just about anyone, including young children, as seen with his young sons, nephews, and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Dillon Egger; grandfather/prominent male figure in his life, William B. Pearce; grandfather Chuck Egger; and aunt Karyn Callaway.

He is survived by sons: Adam Pearce, Timothy (Timmy) W. Pearce, and Branden Pearce; his mother and stepfather, Debbie and Bob Egger; two sisters, Kayla Pearce and Shelby Egger; stepbrothers Justin and Troy Egger; along with grandmothers Doris Pearce and Donna Egger; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and MANY cousins. Tim was an uncle and a grandfather himself.

As of this writing, there are no formal/official services planned, but the family encourages those who knew and loved Tim to remember him and to say a quick, "Hello," the next time they find themselves outside enjoying a warm sunny day.
