Timothy Root Obituary

Timothy, a son of the late Kernel H. and Betty J. (Houck) Root, was born in Lebanon. He is survived by a brother, Dennis L. Root (Maryann); two sisters, Barbara L. Fidler (Dennis), and Sandra A. Lutz (widow of Richard G. Lutz, Jr.); three nieces, Michele Grumbine (Daryl), Tanya Turner (Chris), and Sonja Coulter (Robert); three nephews, Brian Fidler (Theresa), Chad Fidler (Marcie), and Darren Fidler (Mandy); 15 great nieces and nephews; and one great great nephew, Theo. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert K. Root.
He was a lifelong avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and NASCAR fan.
He was a 1983 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School and retired in 2019 from Redner's, having been employed with them for 25 years. In his younger years he enjoyed being a DJ with his friend.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, Mar. 21st, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville. A viewing will be held from 10-11:00 AM, Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery.
The family would like to thank his private home health caregivers.
