Franklin Zechman, 85, formerly of Stouchburg, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Rittenhouse Village.
Franklin, a son of the late Charles and Agnes (Troutman) Zechman, Sr., was born in Berks County. He is survived by his three children, Douglas B. Zechman, husband of Lee, Dolores A., wife of Lester Hauer, and Dean A. Zechman, husband of Esther; a brother, Charles Zechman, Jr.; two sisters, Marie Troutman, and Catherine Seyler; seven grandchildren; Paige, wife of Kyle MacBain, Christopher Hauer, husband of Alexa, Clayton Zechman, husband of Samantha, Jason Hauer and his significant other, Jenna, Austin Zechman and his significant other, Kenzie, Jonathan Zechman, husband of Brittany, Matthew Zechman, and his significant other, Megan; and five great grandchildren, Tate Hauer, Aria Hauer, Parker MacBain, Easton Hauer, and Maxwell Zechman. He was preceded in death by a son, David J. Zechman; a daughter, Debra K. Zechman; a brother, Curtis Zechman; two sisters, Louise Zechman, and Loretta McCoy; and a grandson, Nicholas Zechman.
He graduated from Conrad Weiser High School.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 6th, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville. A viewing will be held from 10-11:00 AM, Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Host Church Cemetery will be at 3:00 PM. Online condolences may be made at www.lammandwitman.com
