Timothy Ryan Obituary

Born in Paterson, Timothy had resided in Hawthorne before moving to Vernon and then Branchville. Tim had worked for Bell Atlantic and then Selective Insurance before becoming a teacher for the Hamburg School District.
Timothy Ryan was the beloved father of Kelly Ryan of Henderson, NV, and Jeffrey Ryan of Branchville. Loving brother of Patricia George of Hawthorne, Joseph Ryan of Aiken, SC, Robert Ryan of Hawthorne, and the late Edward and Mary Ann Ryan. Tim is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be private. A memorial service will be held at 2:30pm on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue Hawthorne. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, prior to the service from 12:00pm to 2:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge.
