Timothy Scruggs Obituary

Timothy Wayne Scruggs, born on October 22, 1966, in Springfield, Tennessee, passed away on November 17, 2025, at his home in Greenbrier, Tennessee. He was a devoted family man whose life was a testament to hard work, love, and compassion.

Timothy dedicated 15 years of his life working as a Supervisor in the Paint Department at Nashville Wire. His colleagues and friends remembered him as hardworking, stubborn, but above all, fun and caring. Timothy's home was famously welcoming; he would open his doors to anyone in need, embodying a spirit of generosity that touched many lives.

A man of varied interests, Timothy was passionate about drag racing and spent countless hours cheering on his loved ones as they raced. He enjoyed camping adventures and created lasting memories with family during cookouts, while also enjoying sports like softball and kickball. His genuine affection for his children and grandchildren was evident in every facet of his life. Timothy often found joy in spending time with them, watching them thrive, and participating in their activities.

He is survived by his children: Beau (Kurstie) Scruggs, Kayla Scruggs Richardson, Codey (Beth Patterson) Scruggs, and Bridget Scruggs. Timothy cherished his role as a grandfather to Brooklyn Richardson, Aubrey Richardson, Logan Binkley, Brylan Scruggs, Madilyn Blackwell, Hunter Richardson, Kobie Scruggs, Zoey Scruggs, and Maverick Harris, and his partner, Amanda Adams, with whom he shared a special bond.

Timothy was predeceased by his beloved wife whom he spent 37 years with until her passing, Tracey Leigh Scruggs, parents, Lewis Wayne and Patricia West Scruggs, and his beloved granddaughter, Rayleigh Scruggs.

The community is invited to join in honoring Timothy's life. A visitation will be held on November 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 PM, both taking place at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 4005 Memorial Blvd, Springfield, TN 37172.

Timothy Wayne Scruggs leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will continue to inspire those who knew him. His remarkable spirit and unwavering dedication to family will forever be remembered.
