Timothy Jerome Staggers, Sr., a son of Earline Rutherford Frierson, was born in Paterson, New Jersey on October 11, 1972. He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at his home surrounded by family.

Timothy received his education in Kershaw County Schools and was a graduate of North Central High School. He was a member of Hyco Missionary Baptist Church. Timothy was a quiet, loving person. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and loved cooking on the grill. Timothy was employed as a grill master at Fatz Café for 19 years.

Timothy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roosevelt Rutherford Sr, and Sarah B. Rutherford; two aunts, Daisy Mae Rutherford and Sarah L. McLeod; One uncle, Roosevelt Rutherford Jr.; Grandmother, Doritha Staggers of Ocean City, New Jersey, and granddaughter, Kinleigh I. Staggers.

Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Earline Frierson of Cassatt; two sons, Timothy Staggers Jr. of Cassatt, South Carolina and Jeremiah Staggers of Cassatt, South Carolina; daughter, Shaimon Staggers of Florence, South Carolina; one granddaughter, Everleigh Hope Staggers; four aunts, Dorothy Rutherford of Paterson, New Jersey, Martha Faye Rutherford of Brooklyn, New York, Joan (Leander) Dunham of Bethune, South Carolina, and Rev. Hattie (Deacon Clarence) Hampton of Camden, South Carolina; one uncle, Deacon Willie J. Rutherford of Cassatt, South Carolina; one grandson, D'Angelo B. Nero Jr. of Florence, South Carolina. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
