Timothy Earl Stamatis "TT" age 4, gained his wings on March 27th, 2025, in the comfort of his loving parents. Timothy was born January 1st, 2021, to parents Krislon and Austin Stamatis. Timothy was a strong, ambitious, and fearless little boy who loved monster trucks, fast cars, the beach, ice cream in a cone, and his favorite color red along with many other things.
TT is survived by his parents Krislon and Austin Stamatis; little brother Sawyer Stamatis; Grandmother "GiGi" Wanda Herring; grandparents Carie and Leslie Jones III; grandparents Teddy and Rosa Stamatis; "Friend" Karsyn Bowen and numerous of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and special friends.
TT is preceded in death by his uncle Robert Earl Moore Jr. "Lil Earl"; great aunt Sonya Kaye Herring; great grandaddy James Roy Herring; great granddaddy Timothy John Stamatis "Papou"; great grandma Glenna Ray Bass Jones and great aunt Wanda Smith.
Our precious little angel Timothy Earl Stamatis came into this world loved by all. Born on New Years Day with beautiful Blue Eyes and a head full of dark brown hair weighing only 7lbs 12oz. He grew to love everything fast including race cars and monster trucks. Timothy attended many races, car shows, and Monster Jam events where he kept a huge smile on his face. He carried a strong love for the beach, regularly taking trips with his family. There he enjoyed playing in the sand with his monster trucks. In addition to many beach trips, Timothy also enjoyed visiting the mountains. His favorite memories there include visiting the Gatlinburg aquarium, riding mountain coasters, and a 4th of July trip to Dollywood with his "Friend". Timmy had many important figures in his life. He spent several days helping his dad and Daddy's Papa working on cars in the shop and talking about fixing his red truck. Every Sunday he was filled with excitement to visit his Papa's house after church to see his Grammy and ride with Papa on the big green tractor. Since Timothy was born, he has had a sleepover with his GiGi every Tuesday which he looked forward to. Timothy loved living in front of his YaiYai so he could visit when he wanted and bake his favorite carrot cake with her.
There are many more memories that we would like to relive. We will hold them dear to our hearts and will forever cherish them. While we only had 1,546 days on earth with Timothy, we all know in our hearts we will see him again.
The Stamatis family would like to thank the doctors and staff in the KISU at Maynards Children's Hospital, located in Greenville, NC. For their incredible care provided to TT and the entire family. A very special thanks to Dr. Fuh, his oncologist.
The family appreciates all of the prayers and concerns extended to us during this time.
