Timothy Michael Traver, Sr. of Joliet, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on September 3, 2025 at age 74, with family by his side. He was born August 25, 1951 in Buffalo, New York.
Tim was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, MickeySue Traver. Her absence was a sorrow he carried with him every day. They are now reunited in heaven.
Tim was also preceded in death by his parents Clayton Green and Esther Traver, stepfather Richard Traver, stepmother Faith Green and brother Dick Traver.
Tim is survived by his siblings Thomas Traver, Guy Traver, Catherine Traver Burnett, Paul Traver, Darling Burkett and Angel Sunafrank.
Tim was known for his humor, stubbornness and unfiltered attitude that he kept until the very end. His laughter and legacy lives on through his children Glenda Williamson, Ruthie Hurry, Cara Daley, Timothy Michael Traver, Jr. (Sarah Traver) and Jackie Traver (Joseph Voitik).
Tim adored and tolerated the antics of his grandchildren Kelsey Daley, Courtney Guthrie, Brooke Rodriguez, Kyra Daley, Cody Baker, Nikkita Baker, Delilah Bocanegra, Cameron Paulson, Devin Traver, Alex Williamson, Colin Voitik, Jaxon Traver and Charlotte Voitik.
He was also blessed with 8 great grandchildren.
As per Tim's wishes, cremation rights have been arranged and funeral services will be held privately by family. Friends and family are encouraged to honor Tim's life by having a beer and a good laugh about something he said or did.
Rest in peace, Tim. You will be deeply missed.
