Timothy “Tim” M. Valentine, age 74, of Havertown, PA. passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, May 26, 2024.
He is survived by his beloved wife Sharon (nee Carfagno) Valentine and is the loving father of Allison (Greg) Valentine, Tim Valentine Jr, and Amy (Brendan) Kelly. He is the treasured Pop of Mercedes, Victor, and Francis Kelly.
Tim is proceeded in death by his loving parents John and Berenice (nee Dever) Valentine, as well as his older brothers John and Peter Valentine.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 21, 1950, and raised in Upper Darby, PA, he was the proud graduate of Saint Alice grade school, Monsignor Bonner high school, Textile University, LaSalle University, and Villanova University.
Tim was a certified public accountant who took great joy in serving his clients. He was involved in various associations including the American Catholic Historical Society, Penfield Civic Association, and the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. As an active parishioner of the Annunciation BVM community, he was devoted to his faith in the Lord.
Spending time with his family and friends was something he cherished beyond measure. Tim enjoyed Big-5 basketball, watching the sun rise in Ocean City, NJ, planning Bonner class reunions, and attending SigEp events. As an avid reader of the newspaper, he took great pleasure in sharing articles with others.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Sunday, June 2 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at The Donohue Funeral Home in Upper Darby, PA, and his visitation on Monday, June 3 from 10:00am– 11:00am at Annunciation BVM in Havertown, PA followed by his funeral mass at 11:00am. An interment at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery will take place after the mass.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions in Tim’s name to the charity or organization of your choosing would be greatly appreciated.
