We are heartbroken to announce the death of Timothy William Wilkins of Mobile, Alabama. He passed away peacefully at the age of 55, surrounded by family and friends. He was born on November 16, 1967. He enjoyed telling jokes and being silly because it made him so happy to make people laugh. He was a very empathetic and caring person so he spent a lot of his time doing things for others. It made his heart happy to do kind things for people and he loved to give thoughtful gifts. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to the casino, shopping, cooking, listening to funny movies (he knew most of the Madea movies word for word). He had a knack for fixing cars but there wasn’t many things that he didn’t know how to fix. He was a mamas boy and he loved his two daughters more than anything else in the world. If you knew him, you knew he was always on the go but on June 21, 2023 at 12:39 am he went to his final destination, Heaven. He will be greatly missed by so many people and sadly, we have one less beautiful soul on this earth with us.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Caro Wilkins; his father, Thomas “Spike” Wilkins; and two brothers, Thomas “Moe” Wilkins and Robert Wayne Wilkins. He is survived by two daughters, Melissa and Emma; four grandsons, Joseph, Nate, Daniel and Weston; ex-wife Tennille; six brothers, Thomas Melvin, Darryl, Terrill, Trevon, James and Steven, and three sisters Melanie, Anna and Diana.
Timothy’s loving and generous spirit will continue to touch lives, as it was his desire to donate his body for the advancement of science.
You are invited to honor his life with us on June 24, 2023 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation for family will be 10:30am to 11:00 am and 11am to 12pm for family and friends. The funeral service will be at 12 pm. Please join us for the reception following the funeral at Pine Springs Baptist Church, 7201 2 Mile Rd. Irvington, AL 36544
