It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Marie Brunker, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who departed this life on March 4th, 2025, at 1 AM, surrounded by her daughters and all her grandchildren after celebrating a wonderful birthday together just a few days prior. Born March 1st, 1959, in Portland, Oregon, Tina spent her life in Millersburg/Albany, where she became a cherished member of the community.

Tina was fiercely devoted to her family, a love that resonated deeply in her relationships with her two daughters, Renae Ortiz, and Katelyn Brunker. Her legacy continues to shine brightly through her five grandchildren: Julian Ortiz, Tatyana Ortiz, Tanaya Eddings, Josiah Eddings, and Kailani Eddings. Tina also held a special place in her heart for her late grandson, Brandon Gobershock, whose spirit will forever be woven into the tapestry of her life.

Tina was a devoted sister to Teresa Zuercher and Debra Baker, and she carried the love of her late brother, Douglass Willis, and her dear parents, Rose Marie Peters and Robert (Bob) Franklin Willis, close to her heart. She also remembered her stepfather, James (Jim) Peters, with fondness. She cherished her nieces and nephews, nurturing a deep love for them. She adored Debi’s daughter, Michelle Moini along with Michelle’s children Nina and Zade. She tenderly remembered Debi’s beloved late daughter Shirean Moini. She found joy in her bond with Teresa’s daughter, Stephanie Brewer, and Stephanie’s daughter Julianna. She kept the memory of Teresa’s late son, Cory Brewer, alive in her thoughts. Additionally, she enjoyed much of her life full of memories with her 6 step brothers and sisters, Dondra, Debra, Lynn, Ron, Jeanette, and Jeanna. She was survived by many other family members who she loved dearly.

A graduate of West Albany High School in 1977, Tina was known for her vibrant spirit and her unwavering commitment to helping others. After years of customer service in the dining sector followed by devoting herself to the precious journey of raising her young family, she began her career as a nail technician, where she found joy in creating beauty and happiness for those around her. Later, she dedicated herself to the service industry, bringing laughter and warmth to the elderly at a local assisted living facility. Her compassion and genuine care for others made her a beacon of light in their lives.

Tina had a profound love for flowers and gardening, finding solace and joy tending to her plants. She was especially looking forward to planting some seeds that her grandson Julian had lovingly brought her from his trip to Alaska. This passion for nurturing life reflected her own nurturing spirit, as she cultivated beauty in her garden and in the lives of those around her.

Her home was filled with love, laughter, and the companionship of her beloved dog, Maiyah, and cat, Kitty. Tina’s nurturing spirit extended far beyond her family; she was the best listener, a shoulder to cry on, and a friend to all. She had an extraordinary ability to put others before herself, always ready to lend an ear or offer a comforting word. Tina’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. She often spoke of the peace she found in knowing she would be in the arms of the Lord after this life.

As we remember Tina, we celebrate a life filled with love, kindness, and an unwavering dedication to family. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. A gathering to honor her life will be held on April 6th at 11:00AM, at The Santiam Place Wedding & Event Hall located at 139 S. Main St. Lebanon, OR 97355. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to “Love INC,” reflecting Tina's spirit of service and love for others.

Rest in peace, dear Tina. Your light will continue to shine brightly in all of us.
