Obituary
Tina Louise Calderone, 79, of Mundelein Illinois passed away with her loving family beside her on June 30, 2023. Tina was born October 23, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to Bruno and Edith Romano.
Tina had a strong catholic faith and rarely missed mass.
Tina grew up on Warner St in Chicago, this house was where her large Italian family had Sunday dinners, holidays or just enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Tina loved music (Especially Italian music) and she loved to dance and sing.
Tina was an extremely hard worker, sometimes working 2 or 3 jobs. She built her career and retired from Panasonic as a credit analyst.
After retirement, she traveled with the love of her life Stewart to Italy, Spain, Florida and many other destinations.
She was always the life of the party and will be dearly missed.
Tina is survived by her life partner of 25 years, Stewart Isaacson; daughters, Michelle (Tim) Kwiatkowski, and Dana Calderone; grandchildren, Tyler, Brandon and Katie Kwiatkowski; siblings, Victor (Margherita) Romano, and Concetta (Glenn) Byerly; and her large extended Italian family of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends including her high school friends known as her "Club".
Tina's family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Cedar Lake Assisted Living for the wonderful care they took of her.
There will be a mass held in honor of Tina at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S Buesching Rd, Lake Zurich, IL. 60047 on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10:30am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tina's memory to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org
