"Tiny" Tina Marie Dugan, known lovingly to many as Tiny Tina, passed away on March 27, 2026, in Rowlett, Texas, after a period of illness. She was born on September 4, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, and lived a life that was full of heart, humor, and the kind of warmth that made people feel at home the moment she walked into a room.

She was a Christian woman whose kindness shaped the way she loved her family and friends. Tina was the beloved wife of Kevin Dugan, who preceded her in death, and the cherished daughter of David and Ellen Marie Maus, who also preceded her in death. She was a devoted mother to Joseph Anthony Dugan and Heather Marie Sphon, and a proud grandmother to Chevelle Marie Langham, Rylie Anne Langham, Brooklyn Marie Dugan, Caroline Marie Dugan, and Anthony Duane Jones. Tina is also survived by her siblings: Billy Maus, Michael Maus and Teri Ann Maddox. Her family was the center of her world.

She graduated from MacArthur High School and went on to work many years as a secretary, where she handled responsibilities with patience and the kind of efficiency that made everyone else look like they were still trying to find the stapler. Later in life, she enjoyed working as a barista at the Hilton on the Harbor in Rockwall, where her friendly nature and easy humor made her a favorite among coworkers and customers alike. Tina had a way of making ordinary days feel a little lighter, and she could turn a simple cup of coffee into a memorable one without even trying.

Tina's life was filled with simple joys that became treasured memories. As a child, she loved going to the family lake cabin at Lake Tawakoni and spent most summers there, making memories that stayed with her for life. She also enjoyed many good times with the neighborhood kids, especially her best friend Beckie, and those days were full of laughter, adventure, and the kind of mischief that only children can manage with complete confidence. As an adult, Tina, Kevin, family, and friends enjoyed boating, fishing, and camping, and she embraced those moments with the enthusiasm of someone who knew that the best stories usually start with, "You are not going to believe what happened next."

Most days after work, Tina spent time with her mother, going to local festivals, thrift stores, and enjoying lunch together. She tended to her mother's every need with devotion and tenderness, and the two of them were the best of friends. Their bond was something rare and beautiful, built on love, companionship, and a shared understanding that a good day could be made even better with a bargain find and a decent meal. Tina showed up for the people she loved in the most practical and heartfelt ways, and that kind of love leaves a mark that time cannot erase.

Those who knew Tina will remember her as loving, funny, and friendly. She had a personality that could brighten a room and a silliness that could catch you off guard in the best way. She was the kind of person who told a story with a smile, laughed easily, and made others feel welcome without making a production of it. In a world that sometimes takes itself far too seriously, Tina had the rare gift of reminding everyone that kindness and laughter go a long way.

Her life was a gift to those who knew her, and her memory will continue to bring comfort, smiles, and stories that begin with a laugh and end with, "That was so Tina." She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, extended family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to share in her life. Though she is no longer here in body, the love she gave, the humor she shared, and the memories she created will remain forever.
