Tina Lin Hickman passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in Gulfport, Mississippi at the age of 62. Born on April 29, 1963, Tina spent her life enriching the lives of those around her.
Tina was a graduate of Poplarville High School and at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. In the years leading up to her passing, she found great fulfillment in her role at Golden Corral in Gulfport, where her warm demeanor and dedication to service made a lasting impression on her colleagues and patrons alike. She formerly had worked at Stennis in decoding and Keesler as a computer tech.
Tina's interests extended beyond her professional life; she had a passion for exploring flea markets, where she found joy in discovering unique items and treasures. Her adventurous spirit and appreciation for life shone through her hobbies.
She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Sadiq Dhalai; her brother, Zachary Hickman; and her uncles, Claude Warden, Jr., Winston Warden, Alfred Warden, Aubrey Warden, and John Warden. Tina's family and friends will remember her for her kindness, warmth, and the joy she brought into their lives.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lina Hickman; her grandparents, Claude and Clonia Warden, and Mr. & Mrs. Clipper Hickman; her brother, Joseph Hickman; her uncle, Oliver Warden; and her aunt, Sammie Marshall. Her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with the service to follow at 11:00 a.m. She will then be laid to rest at Free Church of God Cemetery in Gulfport.
