Tina Marie Theys, 51, of Sylva, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
Born on February 20, 1973, in New Jersey, Tina was the daughter of the late Joseph and Betty Gioffre. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her aunt, Dotty Hela, her maternal and paternal grandparents, and her significant other, Jospeh B. Miller.
Tina held a deep passion for the outdoors, crafting, and especially for her successful career in creating floral arrangements. She brought light and joy to everyone around her, always brightening the lives of those fortunate to know her. Tina treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and embraced every moment with love and laughter.
Left to cherish Tina's memories are her daughter Kiely Dowell, son-in-law Carson Dowell, her grandchildren Nolan, and Nora Dodwell, who brought immense joy into her life. She is also survived by her two sisters, Kimberly Gustafson, and Alexis (Brian) Wright; her niece, Torrie Winemiller; and her nephews, Michael Gustafson, Nicholas Gustafson, and Brody Wright.
A service to honor Tina's memory will be held at a later date.

Seeing this beautiful smiling face on her first day of work at A.I.O, in Pennsylvania. Tina was the kindest, most loving, compassionate, soul. Everyone love her. If anyone was having a bad day, she was the one that talked with you, and made you smile. Tina, loved her daughter Kiely Rae, and her two Grandchildren so so much. I was so sad to hear about Joe, he make her so happy. Then to hear of Tina just broke my heart. She will always be missed and always be loved.

The day she started work with us at Western Carolina Cardiology. Her sweet, soft voice and that sweet smile. She was a beautiful soul, who will be deeply missed. Rest in peace my sweet friend.
