Beam Funeral Service & Crematory - MarionTion James Williams, born on June 27, 1978, in Frankfurt, Germany, passed away on August 23, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas. He leaves a legacy of love and commitment, cherished by many as a devoted husband, father, son, and brother. Tion was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 379, exemplifying a lifetime dedication to his craft and his brotherhood. His professional life was marked by integrity and pride, strongly reflective of his character and the values he held dear.
Family was the cornerstone of Tion's world. He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Mae Williams, and four wonderful children: Isaac James Williams, Jenna Embry Williams, Delaney Adair Wright and Milena Dominique Williams, and his beloved mother, Jimmie Nell Williams. Tion was a brother to Kiwi McIntyre, Michael Williams, Jr. and Michaella Harbaugh, and he his several nieces and nephews.
Tion was not only a devoted family man but also a person with a zest for life. He enjoyed spending quality time with friends and family, and he had an enduring passion for riding motorcycles, particularly his cherished Harley. He was a fervent supporter of the UNC Tarheels and the Carolina Panthers, proudly displaying his loyalty to these teams.
His memory will be honored during a visitation held at Cross Memorial Baptist Church in Marion, North Carolina, on September 20, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at the same location starting at 3:00 PM with Reverend Tony Shirley officiating.
Tion James Williams will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the community he so profoundly impacted.
