Tirrell Jones Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 27, 2026.
Tirrell Lee Jones, age 30, of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on March 20, 2026.

Tirrell was born on December 29, 1995 in Beaufort, South Carolina, to Quincy Tirrell and Theresa Lee (Lowe) Jones. His father preceded him in death, and his mother survives him in Lima.

Tirrell was a 2015 graduate of Wayne High School in Huber Heights, Ohio. In high school, he was the school mascot for a time. He had also worked at Orbit Fun Center in Huber Heights. He loved to roller skate, and he loved the relationships that he was able to form with people through that job. Growing up, Tirrell was also passionate about martial arts. He participated in the Miami Valley Tournament Association for martial arts, and he was the reigning champion for 6 years in a row. He was proud to be a second degree black belt. He also loved to cook, and he attended culinary courses at Sinclair college in Dayton. Tirrell was a bright personality who lit up every room that he was in. When he smiled, you couldn't help but smile yourself. Tirrell's contagious smile and uplifting spirit will be missed by many.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Jesse James Lowe, Sr. and Theresa Lee Daniel, his two sisters, Jasmyne Lorrayne Jones and Amaya Lynnae Jones, his special uncle, Jesse James Lowe II, and a host of other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Eleanor Jane Jones.
