Tobias R "Toby" Gavin

Tobias R. Gavin "Toby" age 25 of Norwood Passed away Unexpectedly on September 17, 2025 at home.

Toby graduated in 2018 from Monsignor Bonner and Archbishop Prendergast High School and Delaware County Community College where he received his Associate in Science degree in 2022.

He worked at Elixr Coffee Roasters in Norwood and Stingers Waterfront Restaurant.

Toby had so many different hobbies and interests but above all he loved spending his free time with family and friends. He was dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle and would do so through many different avenues. Some major examples were working out, meditating, singing, drawing, hiking, riding his dirt bike, and snowboarding with his friends and cousins.

Throughout his time traveling to different places and countries, he developed a love for cultures and different foods. He felt he needed to experience dishes authentically as possible, even if that meant cooking at home with the ingredients. He grew up playing sports, excelling in wrestling at an early age, playing football for the Prospect Park Termites, baseball for Norwood Athletic Club, and Rugby in High School.

He is predeceased by his grandparents Dolores and Frank Gavin and Joseph Czabator, great grandparents Vince Gallagher and Victoria Offidani, great uncle John offidani and his cousin Luke Bryan.

Survivors: Beloved son of Bill and Candice Gavin, loving brother of Billy Gavin and Hanna Gavin, dear grandson of Julie Czabator and great grandson of Vida May Gallagher and also many devoted aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and his fur babies Hazel, Sage and Nala.

Toby saw life through color; please wear your favorite color to honor Toby on Friday.

Funeral Mass: 11:30am Friday, Sept 26, 2025 at St Gabriel's Church, 233 Mohawk Ave Norwood, PA. 19074

Visitation: 9:30-11:30am in the church

Burial: SS Peter and Paul Cemetery
