With a mixture of love and laughter, Toby Gutierrez’s life was a masterclass in making memories. Born on March 16, 1975, in Albuquerque, NM, and spending 49 vibrant years among us until November 11, 2024, in Rio Rancho, NM. Toby had an unmatched way of leaving a smile on everyone’s face. Known for his infectious humor and boundless spirit, he lived and loved fully.
Toby brought his bravery to life serving as an Army Ranger for six years, where his quick wit and humor were as celebrated as his service4 and commitment. His love for adventure expanded on two wheels, riding with his motorcycle club, where the camaraderie and stories of the open road were as vital as the ride itself.
The true hallmark of Toby’s life was his dedication to his family, balanced between laughter and love, which shone brightly in his role as a proud father of two children, Francisco Gutierrez and Delilah Gutierrez. He leaves behind a legacy that continues in the tender hearts of his parents, Shirley Griego and Steve Gutierrez, and his brother, Victor Gutierrez, who will never forget the joy-filled moments they shared.
A believer in Christianity, Toby’s faith ran as deep as his laughter, offering him strength and solace throughout life’s journey. Though his time with us was too short, Toby taught us to embrace laughter and love with open arms and a playful heart. His spirit lives on in the laughter and cherished memories that are his true gift to us all.
