Toby Wayne Widener, 56, beloved son, father, grandfather, brother & uncle passed away Thursday evening July 17, 2025 at his Glen Rose residency.

Funeral services and viewing will be held at:

Toby was born on September 17, 1968 in Yazoo City, Mississippi to Bobby Lee and JoAnn Widener.

He was a man of deep Christian faith and is a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Tupelo, Mississippi.

He loved spending time with his family, grilling, sitting around bonfires reminiscing/relaxing and listening to music.

He also loved hanging out with his friends, fishing, shooting guns, exploring and collecting rocks.

He will be affectionately remembered as being a 'prankster' with a playful and mischievous sense of humor.

Most of all, Toby will be remembered for his love of life and his deep love for his family & friends.

Toby is survived by his daughter, Taylor Widener and her son Donovan Miller; his daughter Lacie Knight & husband Jacob and their children Venus & Cyrus Knight; his mother JoAnn Long; his sister Kathy Smith and her children, TJ Smith and Kathy Merrill Smith & husband John and their children, Jacob & Kimberly Merrill. His brother, Gary Widener and wife Kathy and their children Zachery & Kristina Widener.

Toby is proceeded in death by his father Bobby Lee Widener and his brothers David Widener and Rick Gray.
