It is with great despair that we announce the death of Todd Ellsworth Adams, Jr., 42, of Cumberland Maryland. He was known to his family as "TJ", but also as "Mouse", "Fievel", or "Peg Leg". He was tragically taken from us on December 22, 2024.
TJ attended Allegany High School, and The Career Center for Technical Education with studies in Auto body repair.
TJ was a kind-hearted soul with so much love to give. Often helping others even if that meant he went without. He enjoyed working on cars and was quite good at building and fixing everything. In more recent times he had developed joy in fishing and boating. His sweet tooth was immeasurable, and he could probably live on banana moon pies alone. Tj was a fighter in all aspects of his life. He loved and fought hard for his family, and they did the same for him in return. He will truly be missed by anyone who was lucky enough to have been part of his life.
TJ is survived by his son: Jaiden Malloy; mother and stepfather: Brenda (Appel) and James Cook; his father and stepmother: Todd and Roberta Adams; his sister and brother- in-law: Tessa and Robert DeWitt; his baby sister: Bailey Cook; a nephew: Maddox DeWitt; his nieces: Rylee DeWitt and Aubrie; and grandmother: "Nan" Martha (Hedrick) Lowman; as well as an aunt, cousins, extended family, and friends who considered him a brother.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on December 29, 2024, from 1:30pm-2:30pm at the Ellerslie Volunteer Fire Dept at 14200 Ellerslie Road Ellerslie, MD 21529.
But my dreams aren't as empty
as my conscious seems to be
I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That's never free
