Todd Christenson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on November 27, 2025, in Morrisonville, NY, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born April 7, 1956, in St. Paul, MN to the late Lee and Ruth Christenson.
Todd was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Julie; and his son, Matthew. He is survived by his devoted wife, Caroline Brantingham Christenson; his daughter, Kit; his son, Lucas and his daughter-in-law, Brittany; his cherished grandchildren, Njorth and Lucia; and his sister Berit Christenson Allison.
Todd was always a free spirit, known for his adventurous heart and compassion. A pioneer paramedic and respiratory therapist, he served his community with courage, empathy, and dedication, leaving a lasting impact on all those he helped.
In the North Country, Todd was affectionately known as "Kilt Man," a symbol of his unique presence and vibrant personality. His love for nature was expressed in his personal motto: "into the woods to lose my mind and find my soul." The woods were his temple, and he was revered as the Norse Oak by his family and friends.
Todd's legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he treasured. His laughter, wisdom, and warmth will forever echo in the forests he loved. He has gone now to feed the earth and sing with the heavenly host; his spirit forever intertwined with the natural world.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services.
The family kindly requests donations be made in Todd's honor to your local food shelf.
