Todd Collins Obituary
Todd Michael Collins, 61, of Machipongo, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at his home in Vaucluse Shores.
Born June 17, 1964, in Nassawadox, Virginia he was the son of Thomas Michael Collins and Betty Taylor Collins.
He was previously employed by Bagwell Oil Company, Cape Charles, Virginia and Bundick Well and Pump, Painter, Virginia.
Todd loved gardening, cooking, bird watching, fishing and for many many years cheering on his beloved Miami Dolphins.
He is survived by his sons, William “Bud” H. Collins and his wife Dynomeke “Deedee” Hunter of Cape Charles, Virginia, and Nicholas “Nick” T. Collins and his wife LesAlina “Lina” Collins of Oak Harbor, Washington; two grandchildren, William Collins and Willow Collins; sister Theresa C. Diggs and brother-in-law Andrew J. Diggs of Machipongo, Virginia; two nieces Kaitlyn T. Diggs of Portland, Oregon and Adrienne L. Diggs (fiancé Nicholas “Nick” Corbin) of LaJolla, California; and lifelong best friend Brian Heath of Kiptopeke, Virginia.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Todd’s Caregivers and Healthcare Providers: Deedee Hunter, LPN, Theresa Diggs, Mid-Atlantic LTC - Jewel Burden, PA and Melody Casey, LPN, Riverside Hospice & Home Health, Riverside Shore Cancer Center - Dr. Laura Kerbin and staff, Riverside Pulmonology Specialist - Dr. David Jones, EVMS Otolaryngology - Dr. Matthew Bak, Cindylee Gordish - Sentara Speech-Language Pathologist and Rayfield's Pharmacy.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
