Todd J. Fredrickson

Todd J. Fredrickson, 61, of Hutchinson, died November 13, 2025, surrounded by his family at Hospice House. He was born February 7, 1964, in Concordia, to Jan R. and Maxine J. (Russell) Fredrickson.

Todd graduated from Quinter High School in 1982, McPherson College in 1986, and Fort Hays State University in 1999. He was the principal at Prairie Hills Middle School from 2001 until retiring in 2020. After retirement, Todd was a rural mail carrier for USPS in Haven for 5 years. He was a member of CrossPoint Church. Todd enjoyed working outside and coaching football, but what he loved most was spending time with his family. In 2011, Todd was selected as the Kansas Assistant Middle School Administrator of the Year.

On August 8, 1987, he married Kimberly J. "Kim" Hoke, in McPherson. She survives.

Also surviving are: their children, Kacie Dix (Taylor) of Wichita, Elle Augustine (Joshua) of Lee's Summit, MO, Jacob Fredrickson (Rylee) of Hutchinson; granddaughter, Harper Dix; his parents, Jan and Maxine Fredrickson of Quinter; brother, Kris Fredrickson of Prairie Village; sister, Amy Staples of Wichita; and many extended family members.

Todd was preceded in death by his grandson, Hudson Dix, and grandparents, Carl and Alma Fredrickson and Carl and Dorothy Russell.

Cremation has taken place.

Celebration of Life service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, November 20, 2025, at CrossPoint Church, 1410 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson. Todd would love for everyone attending his Celebration of Life to wear their favorite team's apparel.

Friends may sign his memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday thru Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.
