Todd Gerald Johnson passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025, at the age of 65. A loving father, proud grandfather, reliable son and brother, and honorable veteran, he leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and quiet strength.

Born on February 1, 1960, Todd lived a quiet life with a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years, retiring as a Tech Sergeant stationed with family from 1987-1989 in Cologne, Germany and serving one tour of duty in the Gulf War in 1990.

Todd pursued the things he loved with enthusiasm. A true outdoorsman, he found peace and adventure in nature-rock hounding, gold panning, fishing, hunting and camping were among his favorite pastimes. His passion for rocks and minerals was developed from youth, learned through his father and enjoyed with his brothers, which he passed on to his daughters whom hold their adventures as pivotal memories to this day. He began to share his love of rocks with his grandchildren teaching and gifting many of his treasures with stories of their hunts throughout the years.

For years he spent weekends at roller rinks or coaching and cheering at gymnastic competitions, all the while spending evenings watching old VHS tapes of movies and TV shows. There wasn't a show or movie he didn't like or own the collection of, and you could bet he would prop up on the floor in front of the couch with a Coca-Cola and lose himself in the latest viewing.

Todd Gerald Johnson is survived by his two brothers, Scott and Keith Johnson, his two daughters Melissa Pearson and Miranda Johnson, and his four grandchildren: Taryn Pearson, Cayden Sanderson, Kelsey Pearson, and Alyssa Pearson as well as friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

There will be no private service held to honor his wishes.

The family asks that you take a moment to enjoy the outdoors, share a story with a loved one, listen to a beloved country song - or simply raise a glass of Coke in his memory.
