Mr. Todd E. Jones

Cochran ~ Mr. Todd Edwin Jones, age 57, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Bryant Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Milledgeville. Rev. Trent Dykes and John Cadwell will officiate the service. The family will meet friends following the service Saturday in the chapel.
Todd was born, August 27, 1965, in Macon, GA, the son of the late Mr. Paul Jones and Mrs. Carolyn Wood Jones. He grew up in Cochran and attended Bleckley County Schools and was a member of the Class of 1983. After High School Todd joined the United States Navy and served his country honorably for thirteen years, and he worked for the Georgia Department of Corrections. Woodworking, hunting and fishing were his favorite hobbies. He was a freemason and member of the Millington Masonic Lodge #671 F&AM in Millington, TN.
Survivors are his brothers, Aaron Jones and Darryl (Kim) Jones both of Cochran; step children, Jessica (Derick) Smith of Dudley and Josh (Courtney) Ellerbee of Dublin; grand-daughter, Keaton Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family is at the Jones residence at 390 Lucas Road in Cochran.
