Arthur Harry Jones, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away on July 30, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on August 16, 1939, in Hackensack, New Jersey, he was the son of Arthur Jones and Marian Stagg.
Arthur was married to the love of his life, Elizabeth D. Jones, for 62 wonderful years; a partnership built on love, loyalty, and shared dreams. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Arthur’s greatest joy was his family.
A hardworking and talented man, Arthur spent his career building homes and working in construction. Known as a true jack of all trades, there was not a repair or project he could not tackle. Whether it was fixing something around the house or lending a helping hand to a friend, Arthur’s skills and generosity left a lasting mark.
In his free time, Arthur enjoyed building classic car models, a hobby that reflected his attention to detail and love of craftsmanship. He was also an avid football fan who never missed a chance to cheer for the Florida Gators and the Miami Dolphins.
Arthur was preceded in death by his son, Warren J. Jones. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Jones; his son, Bradley W. Jones and his wife Laura, and their children, Collin and Harper Jones; his daughter Brenda E. Jones and her children, Calvin E. Jones, Elizabeth M. Jones, and Daphne E. Jones and her wife Sarah. Ashley M. Jones and her daughter, Aubrie Pollock; Arthur H. Jones Jr. and his wife Regina; Arthur H. Jones III; Christine E. Dodson and her husband Brandon and their two children, William and Claire Dodson; and Austin J. Jones and his wife Paige.
Arthur’s life was defined by his love for family, his dedication to his work, and his generous spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Haisley Tribute Center, 2041 SW Bayshore Boulevard, Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Viewing will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a service immediately following at 4:00 p.m.
