I will always remember how Todd would listen intently to all I said about my symptoms when I would come for a visit. He helped me my vestibular disorder like no else was able to do . I will miss his sense of humor. I will remember Todd as a friend and a brilliant doctor. Sincerely Robert Correa

Allow me to try and explain to you why Dr. Jones was and will always be someone special to me and my wife. First, the easy ones (please excuse my use of the past tense): He was kind, caring, innovative; had the best of bedside manners. He was brilliant, thorough, informative, effective, and always positive and encouraging no matter what the problem. He was welcoming, often funny, and above all genuine in his concern for us as his patients. If the world had had 1000 more Todd Joneses, half the medical profession would be looking for work... I mean it.
On a more personal level, Dr. Jones was the only one that was able to help my wife with a balance condition that was rendering her unable to walk. We had visited several neurologists, clinics, etc to no avail. The 4th ENT doctor we went to at KU told us that the best he could do was suggest "you find a `happy place´, and kick back with a glass of wine."
Needless to say Dr. Todd did not agree with that assessment. To this day I don´t really understand what he did or how it worked, but work it did. And for that we will be forever grateful. My wife is OK.
Lastly, our first visit to Dr Todd was in 2018. The county had just completed a new road connecting Lees Summit with Blue Springs. It traverses the west side of Lake Jacomo. You might guess that this is Todd George Road. Well, we used this route to get to our first appointments and right away we knew that the planners had misnamed this roadway. My wife and I looked at each other and agreed that Todd Jones Road was the more appropriate title. We still refer to it as such. And I doubt it will ever wear off.
All of our best wishes to Dr. Todd´s family and friends. We will never forget him.

I am so sad that I won't see Dr Todd any more. Please accept my deepest condolences on your and all of our loss.
He helped me deal with my body issues for decades and I am grateful to have known him. His humor, his genuine pleasure to see his patients, his skills and ever the student to learn more about the human body to help us.... he will be missed.

I have, admittedly, been scouring the internet and sleuthing Facebook pages since Savannah called to let me know my appointment was cancelled. A bit embarrassing, because who was I as "just a patient" to be so concerned? But I wasn't "just a patient" because Dr. Jones wasn't "just a doctor". I just discovered the news this morning, and am heartbroken. If it is any comfort at all, here is my story - one that I'm sure is similar to many patients' stories.
I had been living off balance and in pain for decades. Consultations with other doctors generally elicited minimizing comments, suggestions of ibuprofen, and a rush out the door, so I had just assumed that my discomfort was the new normal of the 40 plus club. Then, in yoga teacher training, my teachers pulled me aside and said I essentially couldn't continue practicing until my discomfort etc was addressed. They gave me Doc's number.
After my first visit, I got back to my vehicle and wept with overwhelming joy and gratitude and in absolute awe of the experience I'd just had. I had never been listened to and seen like that. It was clear that my health and my comfort in my own body was his first priority, and he was going to get to the bottom of it and provide not only lasting relief, but an education about how I could be a better steward of the body I live in. And I knew it had nothing to do with me - I could hear him in rooms with other people, I knew my experience was a reflection of his voracious dedication in helping each person have a better existence in their own body.
Surprisingly, considering the norms of the wellness industry, he never tried to sell me anything. No supplements, no extra visits beyond what was needed. If anything, he was always selling the belief that investing in your own health is worthwhile. His willingness to listen and get to the root of something literally altered my outlook of the world around me and of myself. It helped me realize that I don't need to settle --that it is valid to listen to the feedback my body gives me, and that there are actually people in this world who will listen and help.
I appreciated his smile and conversations during the appointments. I'm sure my friends have gotten tired of me talking for the last 10 months about the chiropractor that changed my life, but it was all too significant and exciting to keep to myself. He was unforgettable, and I am so grateful that I got a chance to witness his brilliance and delight. Even though they don't know me, my heart will be with his family and friends as they navigate this devastating loss. He was and will continue to be an inspiration.
