Todd Kolle

Todd Kolle, 66 of Fargo, ND, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the Bethany Retirement Center in Fargo, ND.

Todd was born March 2, 1959, to Duane Kolle and Geraldine (Houg) Kolle in Fergus Falls, MN. He was a graduate of Fergus Falls High School

Todd had a passion for sports beginning with water skiing at Pickerel Lake when he was young. He transitioned his passion for sports as a very active student manager supporting the Fergus Falls Otter football team. After graduation, he assumed responsibility for filming the Otter football games for several years.

His mid-life passion for sports transitioned to bowling and billiards, where he participated in national events in both sports. He also was an incredible fan of the local and regional sports teams. He followed the Bison, RedHawks, Gophers, Twins, Vikings, Wild, and Timberwolves religiously.

Todd worked at multiple restaurants after high school including McDonalds, Mr. Steak and Mable Murphy's and he also worked at the Herberger's Department Store in Fergus Falls and the Larson Super Value grocery store in West Fargo, ND. Todd joined Industrial Builders in West Fargo, ND and worked there for 20+ years retiring in December of 2024. His effort and pride in working at Industrial Builders and becoming part of their "family" cannot be overstated. Industrial Builders reciprocated his effort with an amazing level of support for Todd during his time there.

Todd is preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine (Houg) Kolle.

Todd is survived by his father, Duane Kolle of Fergus Falls; brother, Jan Kolle and wife Sue of Coon Rapids, MN, sister, DeAnn Kolle Lamb and husband Gary Lamb of West Fargo, ND, and brother, Kurt Kolle of Richville, MN; also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to the Essentia Hospital and Bethany Retirement Center staff for all their loving care and concern given to Todd during his stay at those facilities.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Liver Disease Research organizations or Humane Society/Cat's Cradle in Fargo, ND.

Celebration of Life: 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 19, 2026, at Olson Funeral and Cremation Chapel in Fergus Falls with reception to follow. There will be a visitation one-hour prior to the service.
