Brandon Kolle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Doherty Funeral Homes, Inc. - Pike Creek on Jan. 13, 2026.
Brandon F. Kolle, 30, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully on Friday, January 9, 2026. He was born in Newark on May 4, 1995.

Brandon was a graduate of St. Mark's High School and spent some of the happiest times of his life attending Drexel University. He ultimately graduated from Wilmington University and has been employed as a software engineer with Altera Digital Health for the past three years. A passionate outdoorsman, Brandon was proud to have hiked 600 miles of the Appalachian Trail, especially finding peace in the beautiful snow covered landscape. He was a computer guru and enjoyed PC gaming. Brandon was also a history buff with special interest in the world wars. He recently discovered the art of cooking and enthusiastically tried new recipes.

Brandon will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his mother, Jacqueline (Fedena) Kolle; his father, Jonathan Kolle; his sister, Taylor Lynne McLaughlin and husband, Eric; his niece and nephew, Abigail and Jackson McLaughlin; the beloved family dogs, Finn, Colby and Charlie; as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation at Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, 500 McKennans Church Road, Wilmington on Saturday, January 17 from 10:00 – 11:00AM, with funeral services immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Brandon may be made to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy at https://www.appalachiantrail.org/tributegifts or Appalachian Trail Conservancy, P.O. Box 807, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425-0807.
