Todd's career spanned 37 years, starting at Dominick's and continuing at Jewel-Osco. He was an avid Bears and Cubs fan and took immense joy in coaching the Franklin Park Vipers. Todd's life was a testament to his wide-ranging passions: whether it was teeing off on the golf course, firing up the grill for family, or mastering the game of pool. Yet, one of his proudest achievements was being named the BassMaster Champion 7-1.
Above all, Todd was a natural leader in every aspect of his life. Whether at home, in the workplace, on the field, or wherever he found himself, Todd's strong presence and leadership left a mark. His sense of humor could light up any room, and everyone knew they'd be in good hands when Todd was around.
Todd's love for his family knew no bounds. He loved his wife and children with his whole heart and was a proud dog dad. Todd cherished his role as an uncle, always ready to share wisdom and bring laughter to his nieces and nephews. His love for his family knew no limits. Todd was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Beloved husband to Sandy; loving father to Nik (Courtney), Tor, TJ, and Joshua; cherished son of James (Nancy) Mich; dear brother to JD (Chris), Debi (Greg) Daniels, and Cece (Don) Schmit; dear papa to Hannah and Andrew and proud God Father to Aria and Amanda. He is further survived by his many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, and his beloved fur-babies, Mumbo, Matilda, Lexa, Auggie, Charlie, Oliver, Luca and MyMy.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Loretta; cousin, Angie; nephew, Nick; Aunt Terri; Uncle John; Uncle Joe; Uncle Ray; and grandparents, Ray and Carmela Rosel.
A visitation will be held from 3 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Elmhurst Community Funeral Home – THE AHLGRIM CHAPEL, 567 South Spring Road, Elmhurst. A funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. In honoring Todd's life and his love for Chicago sports, attendees are encouraged to wear Bears, Cubs or Vipers jerseys.

. Him missing work for the first time in 1993 because he promised me he wouldn't go to work IF the Bulls won the Championship and they did ~ of course!!! That was the 1st time in his life that he didn't go into work without calling in or anything. He was a very responsible man but he did let loose every one on a while. I'm happy to say that I was right there with him on several of those occasions He was a great friend

He was sitting out back of my grandma's house and we were passing around a 40 oz. I thought he was a str8 and narrow kind of guy and didn't offer him a drink. Until he said : What do i got germs or something " lol. After that we were the best of friends.

I'm so sorry that I didn't get to meet up with you before this happened IT hurts me even more knowing that you passed on my birthday It won't be so easy to celebrate it anymore. You were the greatest of friends and the bester of men. The last thing you told me...after saying we should meet up at Cece's bar was how important your family was to you. You told me they meant EVERYTHING to you. I'm sure you were/ are just as important to them. God bless your family and I know your are resting in peace heart ❤ Until we meet again my friend ... I love you!
