Todd Alan Shetterly, 55 of Dayton, formerly of Franklin, passed away on November 25, 2025, at his home. He was born on August 26, 1970, in Middletown, Ohio, the son of William Shetterly and Dorothy (Payne) Rouse (John Rouse).
Todd is survived by his mother Dorothy Rouse and stepfather John Rouse, his brother Terry (Kristy) Shetterly, and his sister Tracy Shetterly; his three sons, Matthew (Victoria), Logan, and Grant; his 4 grandchildren, Abygale, Makynzie, Olyvia, and Jacksyn; and his closest friend Mike (Shannon) Roberts. Todd is also survived by numerous family and friends with far too many to be able to list all his loved ones.
Todd went to Springboro High School and Warren County Career Center where he learned to be a Brick Mason. He loved Harley Davidson, fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. His life was filled by making memories with his family and closest friends. He was able to accomplish his lifelong dream of working to build his own Harley. Filled with love and peace, Todd never met a stranger. He is loved and will be missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to Disabled Veterans (dvnf.org) or Multiple Sclerosis Society (https://donate.nationalmssociety.org/pages/8528).
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life for Todd on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at The Eagles located at 125 E. Central Ave Springboro, OH 45066 from 5-8. In honor of Todd’s love of family gatherings friends and family are invited to join for light snacks, drinks, and to share memories.
