Todd C. Ubersox, a lifelong resident of Shullsburg, WI, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Lafayette Manor in Darlington, WI. He was born February 28, 1961, the son of Charles "Chuck" and Lavonna (Larson) Ubersox. Todd grew up and lived in Shullsburg his entire life and graduated from Shullsburg High School in 1982. A proud graduate of Shullsburg High School, Todd was an active member of the community and a loyal fan of local sports teams. He loved watching and cheering on the Shullsburg Miners, Green Bay Packers, and Wisconsin Badgers with friends and family.
Todd lived in Shullsburg his entire life, and he was a familiar face around town. He was often seen going to coffee with the guys and scratching lottery tickets at the gas station. Todd was always a social butterfly, engaging with friends and strangers alike, and brightening everyone's day with his humor and warmth. He loved a good game of cards with friends and family. Todd had a knack for telling jokes and always wanted to make people laugh, which he did with ease.
Todd is survived by his two sisters, Cindy (Randy) Anderson of Scales Mound, IL, and Julie (Joe) Thompson of Shullsburg, WI; and one brother, Dean Ubersox of Darlington, WI. He was a cherished uncle to his nieces and nephews, Heather Anderson, Alex Anderson, Holly (Travis) Franzen, Shane (Jen) Anderson, Jennifer (Jason) Nelson, Justin (Maggie) Thompson, Kevin (Twyla) Ubersox and Nick (Brook) Ubersox. Todd was preceded in death by his loving parents.
In his free time, Todd enjoyed exploring the outdoors and going on adventures. He was always up for a new experience and took every opportunity to make lasting memories with those he loved. Todd's adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Todd's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him, but his memory will live on through the countless stories, laughs, and memories he shared with them. His friendly, adventurous, and funny nature will be remembered and celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A funeral service will be held Friday, June 9, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Erickson Funeral Home (235 N Judgement St., Shullsburg) with Rev. Libby Rutherford of Scales Mound United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Shullsburg. A visitation will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. at Erickson Funeral Home in Shullsburg.
