Tom Lynch

Thomas Lynch, 89, of Manchester, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025, in Lakewood, NJ, supported by his loving family. Tom was born in Elizabeth, NJ in 1936, and served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He worked for 37 years at Elizabethtown Gas and Water Company before retiring as Vice President of Human Resources, continuing to enjoy many more years of great and memorable times with family and friends during his retirement.
Surviving are his loving wife of 67 years, Dora Lynch; two daughters, Carol (and husband Chris) Hartmann, and Kim (and husband Brent) Slaga; two sons, Thomas (and wife Pamela) Lynch Jr., and Michael (and wife Michelle) Lynch; nine grandchildren, Kate, Matt, Jason, Anna, Tyler, Jada, Dylan, Jordyn, and Shannon; and other dear family and friends.
Tom shared countless memorable good times and laughter with his beloved wife, children, grandchildren, extended family and friends. He spent many years excelling on sports fields in his youth right up to his later years still on the playing field with his grandchildren. We cherish our many years being with Dad (Pop Pop) at family holidays, on the beach and crabbing at Ocean Gate, and an endless list of other unforgettable joyful times with him. He was always there for all of us and will be in our hearts forever.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ellen Lynch, and his two brothers, James and John Lynch.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown, NJ.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Mary Mother of God Church, Middletown, NJ.
His final resting place will be St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, NJ.
