Tom McConnell Obituary
Thomas James McConnell, 80, of Woodburn, Indiana passed away at home on May 19, 2023, with family by his side.
Tom was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on September 17, 1942, a son of the late Nora (Roemke) and James McConnell.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
Tom was a valued employee at Uniroyal Goodrich, but more importantly, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and faithful member of Christ Lutheran Church, Woodburn.
Tom will be sadly missed by his daughter, Robin (Mark) Strasser; daughter-in-law, Wendy McConnell; 7 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon (Zirkelbach); son, Michael McConnell; brother, Stanley McConnell; and sister, Carol Campbell.
His funeral service is Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 10:30 AM with viewing 9:30 to 10:15, at Christ Lutheran Church, 4412 Park St, Woodburn 46797.
Viewing is also at the church on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 4-7 PM.
He will be laid to rest at Christ Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorials are to the Christ Lutheran Church.
