Tom Romine

Mr. Thomas P. "Tom" Romine, age 74 years, a resident of Elkins, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 in the West Virginia Caring Inpatient Hospice Unit in Elkins. He was born January 9, 1951 at Clarksburg, WV a son of the late Roy Guy Romine, Jr. and the late Mary June Payne Romine. On June 27, 1980 at Pocatalico, WV he married Brenda Corbin Romine who survives in Elkins. Also surviving is his furbaby Abby, two sisters, one niece, five nephews, ten great nieces and nephews, one great-great niece, two great-great nephews, five "special nieces" and rounding out the family with two "special granddaughters". Tom was an educator having retired from the Boone County, WV Board of Education. He enjoyed the outdoors and classic rock music and was a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church in Elkins. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the Elkins Memorial Gardens. Father James E. O'Connor will preside and interment will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army in memory of Tom. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Thomas P. "Tom" Romine.
