Thomas (Tom) Lynn Siple passed away unexpectedly November 11, 2024. He was married to his elementary school crush Deanna (DeeDee) Ash on August 13,1983 who survives. He is also survived by three wonderful children and their spouses, Thomas (TJ) and Jessica (Farley) Siple of Lafayette, Dana and Luke Snyder of Pittsboro and David and Teri (Crouch) Siple of Lafayette. He was also the proud and amazing Papa to Desirae and Canaan Snyder, Evelyn and Lincoln Siple, and Eleanor and Calvin Siple. He also had unconditional love from his faithful four-legged best friend Brees.

Tom graduated from Lafayette Harrison High School in 1981 then went on to Wabash College (’85). During his time at Wabash he continued his academic and sports career, met life long friends, and married the love of his life. After graduation and starting his work career, his family eventually settled in the small town of Pittsboro, IN where his presence in the community was immediately felt. From coaching his children, to meeting friends that would become family, and giving everything he had to the people around him. He loved fishing, golfing, riding his old man tricycle, camping, boating/pulling his grandkids on the tube, working on anything in his garage, but was only complete if he got to do these things with his people. Tom knew the most important things in life were his God, wife, children, family and friends. This family foundation he and his wife created have provided countless people with hope, love, and happiness. He never entered a situation without improving it. He always left with a smile and a warm comment. He gave everyone his warm heart, no matter his situation. To simply summarize how Tom lived his life is found in Galatians 5:22-23. But the Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. He lived this and anyone who knew him felt it. We are all together in this crazy, earthly world - Tom made it easier for us. We will miss him, but his legacy will forever live on. We love you Tom/Papa/Tommy/Lasorda!

He is survived by his parents Mary Katherine (Kay) and Russell Thomas (Sparky) Siple of Lafayette, his two brothers and their spouses Jeff (Beth) Siple of Zionsville and Tim (Jenny) Siple of Lafayette and by a huge family support system that he was very proud of - the many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and countless family friends.

A Celebration of Life for Tom will be held at 2pm, Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Your Venture Church, where friends are invited to gather with the family from 12pm until the time of the service. All are encouraged to dress in casual attire for the Celebration of Life.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts be directed to his Children’s Youth Sports Programs: https://everloved.com/life-of/tom-siple/funeral/

All are asked to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time of loss.
