I don't even know where to begin only to say that Tom Wertheimer was the most loving and caring person ever!! My name is Michael Meredith I grew up in lower price hill and was introduced to Tom in the early 90's I knew him as my "Big Brother" this man literally saved my life.. He was very trusting! My memory is extremely vivid and my time with him was always safe and he never let me get in the way of danger! I still remember what he drove the first time we met, It was a Toyota Previa and the color was maroon.. I remember when me, Tom and his mother went out to eat on the Westside of Cincinnati at Chi-Chi's a place that is far gone sadly, I'll never forget our trips to Forest Fair Mall and Barleycorns on the riverboat "Kentucky Side" this is extremely hard to write without crying I'm just totally lost right now and don't know what to do, I am alone with nobody to express my feelings too, I would love to meet some of his family and tell them how great he was in person, I remember when we went to Tower Place Mall in downtown Cincinnati when it was actually booming with business during the 90's .. When I didn't have clothes or a coat or shoes for school, Tom was there for me. You are my true friend in my heart and I will never ever forget you no matter what, I will carry on through like always smiling when I think of you, My hikes through nature are my peace of mind You will be my thoughts on the outdoors as I make way for my adventures. I will see you again really soon Tom! I regret not calling you sooner, Time is a thing nobody should play with. When it changes, Life changes.. My condolences to the family are always here and God bless all of you. I love you Tom you will never be forgotten.. Michael Meredith

We submitted a photo of Tom (taken in 2008), but accidentally closed this message board before actually leaving a message with that photo. We thought that this photo is a great memory of Tom who was holding his oldest grandchild. Tom had such a great smile. Enjoyed his visits when he came with Lynn to see his daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. Sincere condolences to the family.
