Tomas was extremely in-tuned with music, his children always would catch him singing. He enjoyed walking around the neighborhood while listening to his favorite songs play. And if he wasn't listening to music, you'd probably find him talking to someone on his phone he loved to talk on the phone. Mexico, his birthplace, was one of his favorite places to travel to. Tomas also loved to spend time with his family and will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
A funeral visitation will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Saturday, May 10, 2025, 10:30 a.m. Mass, Immaculate Conception Church, 2745 West 44th Street, Chgo. Burial to follow at Saint Casimir Catholic Cemetery, Chicago, IL.

Tomas Aguirre, 87, falleció el 1 de mayo de 2025. Padre devoto de Casimira, Manuel, Consuelo, Juan Foo, Leticia, Patricia, Tomãs Jr y Sonia; querido compañero de vida de Magdalena Cabrales durante más de 40 años; querido hermano del difunto Juan Foo Aguirre, la difunta Ramona Aguirre y Teodoro Aguirre; abuelo cariñoso a más de 25 nietos y bisnietos. Fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres Juan Bautista Aguirre y Pastora Aguirre Jaquez, y su difunta esposa Reynalda Recendíz Pérez; amado por mucha familia extendida y amigos.
Tomás estaba extremadamente en sintonía con la música, sus hijos siempre lo encontraban cantando. Disfrutaba caminar por el vecindario mientras escuchaba sus canciones favoritas. Y si no estaba escuchando música, probablemente estaba hablando con alguien por teléfono... le encantaba hablar por teléfono. México, su lugar de nacimiento, era uno de sus lugares favoritos para viajar. A Tomás también le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y todos los que lo conocían lo echarán de menos.
Se llevará a cabo una visita fúnebre en CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, donde familiares y amigos se reunirán el viernes 9 de mayo de 2025 de 3 a 8 p.m. Servicio funerario el sábado 10 de mayo de 2025 a las 10:30 de la manana en la iglesia Immaculate Conception Church, 2745 West 44th Street,.
