It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tomas Mancia, who left this world peacefully on September 23, 2024 at the age of 66. Born in Santa Ana, El Salvador, Tomas was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather. His family was his greatest joy, and he adored spending time with his grandchildren, who brought light into his life.
Tomas had a profound faith in God and was actively involved in church ministries, volunteering his time for various events. He believed in the power of community and touched many lives with his kindness and generosity. Described by those who knew him as a sweetheart, Tomas had a unique ability to make others laugh, always wearing a warm smile that brightened every room.
As an agricultural engineer in El Salvador, Tomas found fulfillment in managing coffee plantations, where he embraced his love for the outdoors. He also had a deep affection for animals, ensuring that there was always a beloved pet in his home, which brought joy and companionship to his family. Tomas continued to find joy in home projects and watching soccer games, relishing the time spent with family and friends.
Tomas was preceded in death by his parents, Tomas and Alicia Mancia. He is survived by his beloved wife, Vilma, and their children, Mario and Carmen, as well as his grandchildren, Joshua and Victoria. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and will forever remain in our hearts.
Rest in peace, dear Tomas. You are now with God, where your spirit will shine eternally.
A Funeral Mass Honoring the Life of Tomas will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 11:00AM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 26th from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel.

Con gran tristeza, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Tomás Mancia quien dejó este mundo pacíficamente el 23 de Septiembre, 2024 a la edad de 66 años. Nacido en Santa Ana, El Salvador, Tomas fue un esposo devoto, un padre amoroso y un abuelo querido. Su familia era su mayor alegría, y adoraba pasar tiempo con sus nietos, quienes iluminaban su vida.
Tomás tenía una profunda fé en Dios y participaba activamente en ministerios de la iglesia, ofreciendo su tiempo como voluntario en diversos eventos. Creía en el poder de la comunidad y tocó muchas vidas con su bondad y generosidad. Aquellos que lo conocían lo describían como dulce, y tenía la habilidad única de hacer reír a los demás, siempre con una cálida sonrisa que iluminaba cada habitación.
Como ingeniero agrónomo en El Salvador, Tomás encontró satisfacción en encargarse de las fincas de cafe, donde abrazaba su amor por la naturaleza.
