Tomas Rosales, Jr., 65, entered into eternal rest on October 1, 2025, in Midlothian, Texas. Tomas was a man of strong values, known for his unwavering work ethic and dedication to his family. A lifelong provider, he took pride in supporting those he loved and instilled in his children the importance of respect, responsibility, and perseverance. Though he was stern, his heart was generous, and his humor brought laughter to those around him. Tomas had a remarkable ability to make others smile with his quick wit and love of storytelling. He was passionate about dancing and found joy and freedom on the dance floor. Another love of his life was his motorcycle he enjoyed the thrill of the open road and the sense of independence it brought him. A devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Tomas rarely missed a game and cheered for his team with fierce loyalty. His favorite meal was a hearty steak and potatoes which he often said was all he needed to get by. Above all, Tomas cherished his time with family. His legacy lives on through his seven children: Jessica Martinez of Dallas, TX; Carlos Martinez (Helen) of Harlingen, TX; Tommy Rosales of Dallas, TX; Ashley Rosales of Dallas, TX; Bianca Rosales of Harlingen, TX; Rico Rosales of Harlingen, TX; and Candice Rosales of Dallas, TX; as well as his many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Rebeca Puga (Felipe), Miguel Rosales (Elizabeth), Ricardo Rosales (Paula), Sandra Garza (Alfredo, Jr.), and Rolando Rosales (Enedelia). Tomas was preceded in death by his parents, Tomas and Angelita Rosales; his granddaughter, Faith Martinez; and the mother of his children, Margarita Martinez. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace in Harlingen, Texas. A funeral service will take place on Monday, October 6, 2025, with the procession departing the funeral home at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in La Feria, Texas.
