I knew Mr. Bryant more than 35 years ago when I was friends with Louise and their next door neighbor, Patty. Mr. Bryant was always very nice. He and I differed on our choice of college teams to support, but he never gave me too much grief. He and I always had something to talk about.

Mrs. Bryant, Louise, and family, my sympathy is with you and your love ones. I will keep you all in my prayers as you go through this difficult time.

And though it's been many years since we've seen each other, Louise, you were a friend then, and you will always be a friend in my heart.

I send my deepest condonlences to your family. I never got a chance to me Mr. Tommie, but I always enjoyed listening to him. He made my morning commutes more bearable. This fellow Tiger fan will miss his commentary greatly.

To the family of Tommie:
I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. I only got to meet Tommie once and now wish I had kept up with him more. He will be very fondly remembered by everyone and it's safe to say he was somewhat of a local celebrity. I am honored to have met him. I know he would be happy to know his last time seeing his tigers play football was a win, but he loved his tigers win or lose.
This one's for Tommie

RIP Tommy the Tiger. The airwaves in Columbia won't be quite the same without you. You were a strong and loyal supporter of your team and a gentlemen of the highest character. This Gamecock fan will greatly miss you, as will many others who have expressed their sadness on the Gamecock message boards. My condolences to the family. May God grant you peace and strength during this time.

My condolences to the Bryant family. As a lifelong Gamecock and former Lexington County native, I always enjoyed listening to Tommie's calls on the sports call-in shows. He is the epitome of a true fan and a gentleman and he will be missed by everyone who ever knew him through the airwaves.
