Tommy was born April 9, 1936 to parents, Benjamin Franklin and Vestoria Mae Adams Clure in Buford, GA. He was a Veteran serving in the US Army during the Korean War. Upon completion of his service time, he completed high school and technical school. He began work for Cooper Lighting in Americus, GA., as an Electrical Engineer and worked there for over 30 years before retiring.
Survivors include his daughter, Kathy Blevins(Mark), son, Jeffery Clure(Yessenia), grandchildren, Kimberly Giles(Gregg), Lacie Keith, Edward and Benjamin Rojas, great-grandchildren, Dalton Giles, Grayce Daniels, Laiton Keith, Taylee Keith, great great-grandchildren, Honey Blair Giles, sister, Cherlyn Clure Dollar(Harold), along with several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Clure was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Margaret Clure, granddaughter, Brandy Clure, sisters, Barbara Satterfield, Margaret Mae Clure, Mary Ann Clure, brothers, Robert Douglas Clure, William Edwin Clure and James Harold Clure.
