Tommy Gobble Obituary
Born December 21, 1940 in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Lorraine Johnson and Baxter Franklin Gobble. He retired from RDH Retread. He enjoyed coon hunting and owned and operated Gobble's Redbone Kennell.
He was a member of Woodleaf Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Burley Hamilton Gobble on June 20, 2006.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Lucky Gobble (Janice), Danny Gobble; brothers, Randy Gobble, JW Gobble and sister, Janet Myers all of Salisbury; grandchildren, Christina, Cricket, Scooter, Lucky III, Adam, Mandy Whitaker, April, Shila, Robertt; great-grandchildren, Isiah, Damien, Jacob, Gabriel, Kala, Alicia, Savannah, Emily, Lucky IV, Lucas, Angie, Anna, Addison, Lillia; and great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Jackson, George, Zoe and Isabella.
A committal service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday (November 25) at Rowan Memorial Park Mausoleum.
